The Scenic Railway and Navigation Company is a mult-level O-scale layout in a 40' x 60' room with a 16 foot ceiling. Trains from the Northern Pacific, Great Northern, and Spokane, Portland & Seattle are featured. The layout is an architectural theme, featuring historical buildings of the Pacific Northwest that no longer exist. In a nutshell, the trains tie the architectural themes together.

Running from West staging, it passes through Tacoma, Washington and proceeds over the Cascade Mountains via the Stampede Pass route to Spokane, the Palouse, and points East to staging.

Twelve of Mike's friends are helping him in what would otherwise be an overwhelming endeavor.
